Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. Offering free private parking, the chalet is 15 km from Thomas A Jaggar Museum. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. At first, I wasn't sure about spending three nights in the middle of the rainforest. We really loved starting and ending our days sitting on the covered porch, listening to the rain, and watching the rooster (pretty quiet) walk by. The bed was comfy and the little house had everything we needed. The shower was beautiful, as was the tiny kitchen stocked with some staples. Volcanoes National Park is about 15-20 minutes away.
